Wire Harness Specialist Europe f/m

Your tasks inside the global team of corporate procurement and engineering:

• Drive and support with your technical and market knowledge the commodity work for „harness materials“ (wires, connectors/terminals, harness components) with a global improvement approach for our harness plants, focused mainly on our Italy, Poland and Turkey plants
• Investigate new sources and optimize technical cooperation with existing suppliers
• Work on competitive material costs in running and in new projects (RFQ work)
• Suggest technical alternatives (process, materials, sources)
• Market and Cost Driver analyzes for critical materials
• Support contract negotiations
• Selection and Qualification of new Strategic Sources
• Supplier- and Risc Management for European harness materials
• Lead of improvement projects (technical improvements, commercial improvements)

This new position will work close with other departments like customer key accounts, quality management and plant engineering and will report directly to the Director Corporate Procurement PAS Group.

Our requirements:

• Engineer with deep technical knowledge and background of wire harness solutions and of sourcing market and with commercial skills (contracts and negotiations)
• Minimum 5 years experiences in engineering/procurement including project management experiences
• Strength in analyzing and communication, self-motivated and structured working, a responsible and flexible person (time and place of work)
• Fluent in English, open to travel international
• Secure SAP-, Excel-, Powerpoint- and presentation skills
