Privacy Policy

§ 1 Information about the Collection of Personal Data


(1) Below we provide information about the collection of personal data when using our website. Per-sonal data are all data that are assignable to you personally, such as your name, address, email ad-dresses, and user behavior.


(2) The data controller in accordance with Article 4 Paragraph 7 of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is PAS Deutschland GmbH, Wilhelm-Bartelt-Straße 10–14, D-16816 Neuruppin, Germany, info(at)pas-net.com (see our legal notice). (3) When you contact us by email or via a contact form, the data you provide (your email address and your name) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We delete the data arising in this context once storage is no longer necessary, or limit processing if statutory retention obligations exist.


(4) If we use contracted service providers for individual features of our offer or would like to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail about the respective processes below. We also specify the criteria defined for the storage period.


§ 2 Your Rights


(1) You have the following rights regarding the personal data we hold on you:
– right to receive information,
– right of correction or deletion,
– right to restriction of processing,
– right to object to data processing,
– right to data portability.


(2) You also have the right to complain to the competent data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.


§ 3 Collection of Personal Data When Visiting Our Website


(1) When using the website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise pro-vide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which are technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to guarantee stability and security (the legal basis is Article 6 Para-graph 1 Number 1 Sub-Paragraph f of GDPR):
– IP address
– Date and time of the request
– Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
– Content of the request (specific page)
– Access status/HTTP status code
– Amount of data transmitted
– Website from which the request comes
– Browser
– Operating system and its interface
– Language and version of the browser software


(2) In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk by the browser you use and through which certain information is transmitted to the body that sets the cookie (in this case, us). Cookies cannot run any programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the web-site more user-friendly and effective overall.


(3) Use of cookies:


a) This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functioning of which are explained below:
– Transient cookies (see b)
– Persistent cookies (see c)


b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include, in particular, session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the joint session. This will allow your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.


c) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may differ de-pending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies via your browser’s security settings at any time.


d) You can configure your browser setting according to your wishes and, for example, refuse the setting of third-party cookies or all cookies. Please be aware that you may not be able to use all features of this site.



§ 4 Objection or Withdrawal of Consent to the Processing of Your Data


(1) If you have consented to the processing of your data, you can cancel it at any time. This with-drawal of consent affects the admissibility of processing your personal data from the point at which it is announced to us.


(2) If we base the processing of your personal data on the weighing of interests, you may object to the processing. This is the case if processing is not necessary to fulfil a contract with you, in particu-lar. This is described by us in the following description of functions. Upon exercising such an objec-tion, we ask for an explanation of the reasons for which we should cease processing your personal data as previously. If your objection is valid, we will examine the situation and will either discontinue or adapt the data processing or point out to you our compelling legitimate reasons for continuing the data processing.


(3) Of course, you may object to the processing of your personal data for advertising and data anal-ysis purposes at any time. You can inform us about your objection to advertising using the following contact details: info(at)pas-net.com.


§ 5 Use of Piwik


(1) This website uses the web analytics service Piwik to analyze and regularly improve use of our website. With the statistics acquired, we can improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of Piwik is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Number 1 Sub-Paragraph f of GDPR.


(2) For this evaluation, cookies (see § 3) are stored on your computer. The data controller stores the information collected exclusively on its server in [Germany]. You can stop this evaluation by delet-ing existing cookies and preventing the storage of cookies. If you prevent the storage of cookies, we wish to point out that you may not be able to use this website to the full extent. The prevention of the storage of cookies is possible through the setting in your browser. Preventing the use of Piwik is possible by removing the following checkmark to enable the opt-out plug-in: [Piwik iFrame].


(3) This website uses Piwik with the extension “AnonymizeIP”. This means IP addresses are pro-cessed in shortened form, meaning that it is not possible to link them to an individual person. The IP address transmitted by Piwik from your browser will not be merged with other data collected by us.

§ 6 Use of Google Maps


(1) On this website we use Google Maps. This allows us to show you interactive maps directly in the website and enables you to conveniently use the map feature.


(2) By visiting the site, Google receives the information that you have entered the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data mentioned under § 3 of this privacy policy will be transmitted. This is done regardless of whether you have a Google account that you are logged into, or whether you have no user account. If you are logged into Google, your data are associated directly with your account. If you don’t want this association with your profile on Google, you must log out before activation of the button. Google stores your data as a usage profile and uses it for the pur-poses of advertising, market research, and/or tailor-made website design. Such evaluation takes place in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide targeted advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the formation of these user profiles. You must contact Google to exercise this right.


(3) You will receive more information about the purpose and scope of the plug-in provider’s data collection and processing in the provider’s privacy policy. § 7 Embedding of YouTube Videos


(1) We have integrated YouTube videos into our website. These are stored on http://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. [These are all embedded in the “enhanced privacy mode”, which means that no data about you as a user are transferred to YouTube unless you play the videos. Only when you play the videos will the data referred to in paragraph 2 be transmitted. We have no influence on this data transfer.]
